Tangibal Media confirms significant growth in campaigns with major brands across summer 2012
London, June 14th 2012. Tangibal’s cinema network of interactive digital screens has seen significant
growth in booked advertising campaigns for the summer 2012. Major international brands like Microsoft
have commenced buying Tangibal’s media formats as they look to target Cinemagoers in the UK and Norway.
The following campaigns have been booked by either Pearl and Dean or Primesight, Tangibals’ media sales
• Following the success of the EA Games launch on Mass Effect 3 on Tangibal’s interactive
screen media, Microsoft have booked two campaigns, one interactive and one static with a total media
value of £55,000 and production charges of £15,000. The interactive campaign launching their Internet
Explorer 9 platform ran solus from 5th April 2012 to 16th April at a media value of £37,500 and achieved
over 70,000 interactions on 35 screens. On the back of the success of the April campaign Microsoft
booked a second campaign running standard outdoor digital content to launch their Windows 7 phone
platform which is currently running in Cinemas now.
• The national UK retailer Matalan booked a two
week campaign from 28th May through 10th June.
• Sky the UK’s largest satellite TV Group have
confirmed a campaign that will run for 8 weeks from 16th July.
• British Gas have also booked the
screen media with a campaign set to go live on 23rd July for two weeks.
• Finally computer brand
Lenovo has confirmed a campaign on 8 screens for 2 weeks from 20th August.
• The gross media value
of this campaigns results in additional revenues far above £100,000.
On top of the above confirmed
campaigns the company expects further screen sales over the summer period including sales on its
interactive floors, which are currently generating a minimum of £12,000 per month under the minimum
rental agreement it has with Pearl and Dean.
